Career Counnselling

Career Counselling

This simply means getting someone to help you to:

  • Set a career goal that is right for you
  • Plan the steps needed to achieve that goal &
  • Take the actions needed to make it all happen

The counselling process is intended to help you establish & ultimately achieve your career goal. Call our office for an appointment.

Some of the main things you must consider are; your personal interests, your current education level, the time you have available, your willingness/ability to relocate, the types of training options available in your area, your family/personal responsibilities/issues, the costs, the available sources of financial assistance, and so on.

A few of the main questions that need to be considered are:

  • What kinds of things am I naturally good at doing?
  • What skills do I have?
  • What kind of work have I done in the past?
  • What job would I like to have?
  • What rate of pay do I want/need?
  • Where do I want to live?
  • How will this affect my family?
  • How much time do I have to achieve my goal?
